Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for night shifts on a telemetry unit, requiring an active IN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital Med/Surg unit with telemetry
• Night shifts are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Duties include providing comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients with telemetry monitoring
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• No Canadian Social Insurance Number accepted
• Applicants must not have previously worked as permanent staff at a facility within the same health system for 2 years

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of assignment start
• Must not have gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Former permanent staff of the health system must have a 2-year separation before consideration
