Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring scrub experience and current BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital
• Primarily day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:50 to 19:20
• Involves caring for laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
• Required to scrub as backup as needed
• May float to Mother/Baby unit and scrub roles
• Call required for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Every other weekend work required
• Must float to Mother/Baby unit and assist with scrub duties as needed
• Locals within 60 miles accepted at a different rate
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per unit policy
• Professional, team-oriented work environment
• Scrub attire required per hospital policy

Requirements

• Active RN license in MD or Compact state
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required (solid 2 years considered)
• BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications required
• Scrub experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
