Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring scrub experience and current BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications.
Details
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital
- Primarily day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:50 to 19:20
- Involves caring for laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns
- Required to scrub as backup as needed
- May float to Mother/Baby unit and scrub roles
- Call required for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
- Every other weekend work required
Requirements
- Active RN license in MD or Compact state
- Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required (solid 2 years considered)
- BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications required
- Scrub experience required
- ACLS certification preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
Additional Information
- Must float to Mother/Baby unit and assist with scrub duties as needed
- Locals within 60 miles accepted at a different rate
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per unit policy
- Professional, team-oriented work environment
- Scrub attire required per hospital policy
