Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN with an AZ or compact license for night shifts in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) unit
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Meditech charting system is used, with experience highly preferred
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Online modules are required and included as part of orientation
• Med/Surg RNs are expected to provide comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application
• Travelers may work in pairs
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Experience with Meditech EMR highly preferred
• Must provide copies of driver’s license and Social Security card for consideration
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
