Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position with telemetry experience and the ability to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital
• Typical patient ratio is 1:5-6
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Potential for remote telemetry monitoring
• Charting is done in Meditech; prior experience preferred but not required
• 13-week assignment
• Orientation held every Monday
• First time travelers and local candidates accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a medical surgical setting
• Telemetry experience required
