Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist experienced with EPIC charting and holding current ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital-based MRI department
- Work schedule includes variable 12.5-hour shifts: Week 1 Wednesday and Thursday 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM; Week 2 Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric cases requiring MRI imaging
- EPIC EMR is used and prior experience is preferred
- Responsibilities include performing MRI exams and operating MRI equipment
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions permitted
- Parking is not validated; public transportation and paid parking lots are available nearby
- Scrub or dress code will follow hospital policy
- Local candidates must have a permanent residence at least 60 miles from the hospital; locals are eligible at a reduced rate
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification accepted only from the American Heart Association
- Active MA Radiologic Technologist license is required if applicable; conditional licenses are not accepted
- No minimum years of experience specified
