Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment with a strong requirement for active MA ARRT certification and recent BLS.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care MRI unit specializing in advanced imaging procedures
- Day shifts are scheduled Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Patient population includes adults requiring diagnostic MRI scans
- Uses Epic EMR for charting and documentation
- Flu vaccine during flu season is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Public transportation and public parking are available; daily parking fees apply at Boston locations
- Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from the facility for full travel rate eligibility; local candidates receive reduced rates
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- Scrubs/dress code requirements are not specified
- Proof of MA license must be provided at the time of consideration
- Extensions are available but at a reduced rate
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in MRI required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Active Massachusetts state license required for consideration (MA conditional licenses are not accepted)
- No minimum experience specified
- Ability to work the specified 12.5-hour shifts on Sunday, Thursday, and Saturday
- License required if applicable
