Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract who holds current ARRT certification and a valid MA license if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Ellison 2 MRI unit within a hospital setting
- Schedule includes 12-hour day and evening shifts with rotating weekend coverage
- Patient population includes both scheduled and emergent MRI studies
- Department uses Epic for charting
- Must be comfortable with rotating shifts including weekends
- Must provide proof of MA licensure prior to consideration
- Local candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard travel rates
- Parking is not validated and only public transportation or paid public lots are available
- Scrub or professional dress code as required by department policy
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active MA license required if applicable; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
- BLS certification through AHA is required
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions permitted
