Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring Level 1 CVICU experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule working 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift
• Care for pediatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
• Level 1 trauma experience and CVICU experience are required
• No local candidates accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• Responsibilities include delivering competent care to pediatric patients with serious cardiac needs
• Duties involve IV administration, medication management, and monitoring of physiological data
• Works closely with physicians, patients, and families to communicate care plans
• Expected to document patient responses and assist with minor procedures
• Must collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• May only be eligible for a single contract extension up to 26 weeks before a required six-month break

Requirements

• Active OK RN license or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Ability to provide care in a Level 1 trauma and CVICU environment
