Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Oncology Clinic position in a Radiation Therapy department requiring an active OK or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Radiation Therapy department within an oncology clinic setting
• Patient population consists of individuals receiving radiation therapy for various cancer diagnoses
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts
• No on-call or weekend shift requirements
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Care for patients receiving radiation therapy, including medication administration, monitoring physiological data, and documenting patient responses
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures or treatments
• Communicate and coordinate care with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Delegation of appropriate duties to support staff as needed
• No local candidates will be considered; must reside outside a 50-mile radius

Requirements

• Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• At least one year of RN experience, with oncology experience preferred
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
