Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position rotating through triage, antepartum, labor, and transition requiring a TX or compact license and multiple certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
- Patient population includes antepartum, laboring, and transitioning mothers
- Responsibilities include rotating through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition areas (no postpartum)
- Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
- Minimum assignment length is 13 weeks
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
- Must provide verification of license if requested
- Role involves supporting a range of maternal care from triage to transition but excludes post-partum coverage
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and NRP
- Must attach certification documentation for consideration
- Two recent supervisory references from the past three years are required
