Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatrics night shift position in Massachusetts, requiring pediatric and float experience.

Responsibilities

• Pediatrics unit in a hospital setting
• Night shifts (12 hours) with 36 hours per week
• Required to float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum units as needed
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Block scheduling will not be considered
• Very limited approved time off; only up to 3 days and one holiday
• Must be willing to float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum as necessary
• Block scheduling is not permitted for this role
• RTO requests of more than 3 days will not be approved

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of recent pediatric nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) certifications required
• Adult Med/Surg experience preferred for floating
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred
• Traveler must provide their own vehicle
