Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of nuclear medicine and cardiac experience, BLS, NMTCB, and CA state license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital in the nuclear medicine department
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
• Patient population includes both nuclear medicine and cardiac cases
• Epic EMR is used and experience is preferred
• All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state based on need
• Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before being eligible as a traveler and must not live within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Royal blue scrubs are required
• Free parking is available
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; changes or additional RTO after offer may be denied
• First-time travelers are considered only if they meet the minimum experience requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Experience in cardiac nuclear medicine is required
• Current BLS, NMTCB certification, and California state license required (License required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• COVID and Flu vaccination documentation required
• Must provide SSN, DOB, driver's license, and 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year in the specialty
