Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of nuclear medicine and cardiac experience, BLS, NMTCB, and CA state license required.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital in the nuclear medicine department
- Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs
- Patient population includes both nuclear medicine and cardiac cases
- Epic EMR is used and experience is preferred
- All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state based on need
- Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before being eligible as a traveler and must not live within a 50 mile radius of the facility
- Royal blue scrubs are required
- Free parking is available
- Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; changes or additional RTO after offer may be denied
- First-time travelers are considered only if they meet the minimum experience requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Experience in cardiac nuclear medicine is required
- Current BLS, NMTCB certification, and California state license required (License required if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- COVID and Flu vaccination documentation required
- Must provide SSN, DOB, driver's license, and 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year in the specialty
