Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of recent trauma and stroke experience, BLS and ARRT credentials, and an active state or district license.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a hospital setting specializing in trauma and stroke cases
  • Shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12 hours each
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
  • Must work with CT and radiographic equipment and support procedures as needed
  • Duties include operating CT and radiographic equipment, adjusting technical factors for patient body habitus, patient positioning, and collaborating with physicians during procedures
  • Responsibilities also involve room preparation, managing supplies, handling contrast reactions, and responding to codes
  • Role includes scheduling, completing exams, and entering correct charge codes
  • CPI training may be available at the facility
  • All certifications must be current and copies included for consideration

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a US hospital setting in CT specialty
  • Associate's Degree or completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Active, non-pending state or district license required; license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
  • CPI certification mandated by the position
  • Must have trauma and stroke imaging experience
  • References from two managers or supervisors preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer
  • US Social Security Number, driver's license, COVID and flu vaccination documentation, and date of birth required for consideration
  • No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
