Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN in Michigan with strong cardiac proficiency and STEMI experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
• Responsible for pre and post care and patient holding
• Handles STEMI cases and procedures
• Uses Phillips equipment and Cerner EMR (preferred)
• On call one day per week and one weekend per month
• Weekend work only required when on call and called in
• Provide direct care to cardiac cath patients including monitoring pre and post procedure
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• Must be prepared to respond to call quickly as needed

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous Cath Lab experience required
• Strong cardiac proficiency required
• Holding experience in pre and post care required
• STEMI experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience with Phillips equipment and Cerner EMR preferred
