Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring active OK or compact RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Neonatal ICU of a hospital setting
- Care for neonates and infants with a range of simple to complex health conditions
- Day shift schedule from 6:45AM to 7:15PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- RNs are responsible for managing an assigned group of neonatal patients and monitoring their physiological data
- Responsibilities include administering medications, IV infusions, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures
- Effective communication with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans is essential
- Delegation to support staff is part of daily practice
- No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements
- Active OK or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of one year of NICU experience
- BLS and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
