Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring active OK or compact RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neonatal ICU of a hospital setting
• Care for neonates and infants with a range of simple to complex health conditions
• Day shift schedule from 6:45AM to 7:15PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• RNs are responsible for managing an assigned group of neonatal patients and monitoring their physiological data
• Responsibilities include administering medications, IV infusions, and assisting with minor diagnostic procedures
• Effective communication with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans is essential
• Delegation to support staff is part of daily practice
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active OK or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of one year of NICU experience
• BLS and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
