Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications, as well as scrub experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week, 18:50 to 07:20
• Required to scrub as backup as needed
• Patient care includes laboring, delivering, and immediate post-partum
• Floating required to mother/baby and as a scrub nurse
• Call required for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Every other weekend is required
• Will accept local candidates within 60 miles at a lower rate
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Scrub attire required in the unit
• Call coverage is part of the expected shift rotation

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications required at time of consideration
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required (2 years may be accepted with strong experience)
• Prior scrub experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered
