Description
American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with at least one year of recent specialty experience and an active TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work on the 3 West Telemetry unit in a hospital environment
- Provides care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for a 13-week contract
- No local candidates permitted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of one year of recent telemetry RN experience
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- At least one professional reference required for candidates from Texas
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and managing telemetry equipment
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
