Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ICU night shift position requiring at least one year of experience and a CA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care ICU setting with an average daily census of 4
• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 18:30-06:30)
• Required to work two weekends per month, with a weekend defined as two consecutive days Friday through Sunday
• Travelers must float between all facilities within the state as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system
• First-time travelers are eligible for this role
• Former permanent staff must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• No more than seven days of requested time off approved per contract
• Scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable
• All travelers are expected to float as needed and refusal may result in termination

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted)
• At least one year of recent ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of recent employment in a similar ICU specialty or setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
