Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring a compact or TN RN license and critical care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Patient ratios of 1:1 in CVICU and 1:2-3 in ICU
• Floating to other units as required
• Must work two weekends per month or every other weekend
• Holiday and holiday week time off requests will not be accommodated and must be discussed onsite with the manager
• Regular bi-weekly orientation provided
• Strong team collaboration expected in a fast-paced critical care environment

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS-AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
• Previous Cardiovascular ICU or ICU experience necessary
