Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN with a compact or TN license, requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is typically 1:2 or 1:3
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00 to 19:30)
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend or two weekends per month
• Floating to other units is required
• Holiday rotation coverage is required
• Orientation offered every two weeks
• Requests for time off during designated holidays or holiday weeks cannot be accommodated
• Requests for holiday time off may be addressed onsite using the RTO form

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Previous ICU nursing experience preferred
