Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) within an acute care setting
• Night shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts, 7p-7a
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• 16 orientation hours provided at start of assignment
• Main responsibilities include providing care to emergency patients in a fast-paced environment
• Night shift role requiring flexibility and strong critical thinking skills

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience required
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• No BSN required
