Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans and ensure patient safety in a hospital radiology setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital radiology CT department
- Responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
- Schedule is Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Patient care is required during imaging procedures
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Experience with advanced CT procedures such as cardiac CT or trauma imaging is preferred
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to provide accurate imaging results
- Ensure proper patient positioning, immobilization, and monitor patients during CT procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
- Public transportation or paid parking required at Boston locations
- Two professional references required for consideration
- No exceptions allowed for flu vaccination requirements
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required
- State license as a Radiologic Technologist required if applicable; Massachusetts conditional licenses not accepted
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification preferred
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a CT technologist in a hospital or imaging center
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and infection control procedures
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from Boston to qualify for travel rates
