Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for overnight shifts with a 7 on/7 off schedule and ARRT (CT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital CT department
• Works a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, mixing 8- and 12-hour night shifts
• Shift times: Wed-Fri 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Sat-Tues 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• No call requirements
• Required to work every other weekend
• Works with Toshiba or Canon CT scanners
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Performs CT studies according to established protocols and tailors exams based on patient history and radiologist instruction
• Administers IV and oral contrast material as necessary per protocol
• Monitors and documents patient condition and all relevant data throughout procedures
• Implements radiation protection measures for patients and staff
• Assists radiologist in sterile procedures and can recognize and respond to allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions
• Scrub attire or professional dress code as required by department
• Candidates must submit all scheduling requests with initial application, as changes after offer will not be accepted
• Local travelers may only complete one travel assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active American Heart Association BLS required
• Proficiency in venipuncture and sterile technique required
• Experience with Toshiba or Canon CT scanners highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Travel work experience preferred
• Completion of a CT-specific skills checklist within the past year required
• Two supervisory references from the past two years required
• Will not consider local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• No more than 5 days of requested time off allowed
• License required if applicable
