Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least one year of experience and current ARRT, CT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital CT department
• Primary shift is overnight (17:45 to 6:15) with possible occasional day/evening shifts (11:00 to 23:30) based on unit need
• Self-scheduling is available based on seniority
• 1:1 technologist-to-patient ratio
• No on-call or floating requirements within the CT department during this assignment
• Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience is required
• Free parking is available on site
• Scrub color for radiology is navy blue
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may hinder consideration
• Travelers are expected to float within the state if the facility requires
• No block scheduling guarantees; schedules are finalized based on unit needs

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers are accepted
• RTO must be requested at time of application
• Minimum of 2 recent supervisory references covering 1 year of similar employment
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
