Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Operating Room position requiring a TX or compact RN license and strong pediatric surgery experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Operating Room
• Patient population includes pediatric surgical cases in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Monday through Friday work schedule with shifts from 06:30 to 15:00
• On-call duties are required
• Possible holiday rotation may be included
• All candidates must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address
• Only one application to an Ascension system position allowed at a time
• Holiday coverage may be necessary during the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted but may be offered at a reduced rate depending on location
• COVID vaccination is not required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric operating room experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS certifications are required
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
