Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a freestanding emergency department with coordinated outpatient, primary care, and ED services
- Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Performs CT scans and X-ray studies on various body areas including chest, head, spine, abdomen, musculoskeletal, and pelvis
- Special procedures include brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
- Uses GE and PACS equipment; experience with Epic EMR required
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with potential schedule adjustments as needed
- Call required with a 30-minute response time
- Floating between all facilities within the state may be required
- Must be able to work independently, deliver excellent customer service, and collaborate well with the ED team
- Scrubs must be professional, without logos, and in good condition
- Minimal to no RTO is permitted and must be addressed during the interview process
- Former perm staff must be separated for at least 3 months and not reside within 50 miles to be eligible
- First-time travelers will be considered
- All travelers are expected to float as required by facility policy
Requirements
- Active ARRT, ARRT RT (R) (CT), BLS, and Washington state license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Experience in adult outpatient and emergency department settings required
- Proficiency with GE, PACS, and Epic EMR systems required
- Competence in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
- Ability to perform X-ray, fluoroscopy, and preferred experience with enema studies, surgery/C-arm, and Shimatzu-Xray
