Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a tertiary care setting, with lead coverage responsibilities and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a tertiary care hospital within the X-Ray department
• Expected to provide workflow oversight and function in a lead technologist role as needed
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts including Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, plus a rotating weekday shift from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Utilizes the Epic EMR system, with prior Epic experience preferred
• Must be able to provide general workflow oversight and act as a point of contact for the department during shifts
• Scrub color requirements are any combination of navy and white
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Epic EMR experience is preferred
• Candidates must be willing to accept lead assignments as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an X-Ray Tech
• Relevant certification/license required if applicable
• Willingness to perform lead technologist duties during assigned shifts
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
