Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least one year of experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Cath Lab, serving adult to geriatric patients
• Work schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
• There are 3 procedure rooms with a total of 5 beds and an average daily census of 8-10 patients
• Responsibilities include circulating procedures, managing and interpreting dysrhythmias, and administering procedural sedation
• Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for charting and medication management
• Every third weekend required
• Ten call days per month required
• Floating to sister campus may be possible
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Must be able to work required holidays based on assignment period
• No blocked scheduling or travel pair arrangements allowed for the same shift/unit
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO), with none allowed during the first week
• Full compliance is required prior to start due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Returning travelers or employees must be away from all related facilities for at least one year before returning as a traveler

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to circulate Cath Lab procedures and provide procedural sedation
• Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR preferred
• Must provide two supervisory references from a manager or above
