Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position specializing in neuro and ortho spine cases, requiring a LA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
  • Primary service lines include neuro and ortho spine surgeries
  • Day shifts are 3x12 hours from 6:15 to 18:45
  • Neuro call is required as part of the assignment
  • Experience in additional service lines such as general, ENT, and robotics is beneficial
  • Candidates must be prepared for possible assignment to an emergency team with requirements to remain on site during events
  • Role may include cross-coverage for additional surgical service lines depending on clinical needs
  • Time off requests must be listed on the profile and discussed during the interview for consideration
  • Team structure and support provided by immediate unit management and existing staff

Requirements

  • Active LA or compact state RN license required
  • Minimum of 3 years operating room experience with a focus on neuro and ortho spine surgeries
  • All required certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • First time travelers are not accepted for this position
  • Candidate must reside at least 65 miles from the facility
