Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring scrub experience and multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6:50 AM to 7:20 PM
• Required to float to mother/baby and scrub as needed
• Must be able to scrub as backup when required
• Call required for 2 shifts every 6 weeks
• Every other weekend is required
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrub duties will be performed as backup as needed
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
• Holiday coverage may be required according to the unit's needs
• Standard unit dress code applies

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• BLS, NRP, C-EFM, and STABLE certifications required at time of consideration
• Three years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required (will consider 2 years with solid experience)
• Scrub experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
