Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Breast Sonographer Ultrasound Technologist with strong breast and general ultrasound expertise and 2-5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient setting with walk-in patients
- Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
- 10-hour and 8-hour day shift options available, to be discussed during interview
- No call or weekend shifts
- Primary focus on breast sonography with additional general ultrasound procedures
- Duties include performing diagnostic breast ultrasounds, breast biopsies, and cyst aspirations
- Opportunity to work with an experienced imaging team in a busy outpatient environment
- Testing on Tele/ECG and medication may be required depending on campus location
- Free parking provided for employees
- Parking may be costly at up to $43 per day at certain locations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of breast and general ultrasound experience required
- Must be able to perform ultrasounds, breast biopsies, and cyst aspirations
- Expertise in breast sonography required; OBGYN ultrasound experience is a plus
- MA license required if applicable
- COVID vaccine and booster, and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must be separated from prior employment at the facility for at least 6 months and be in good standing
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius unless considered as an exception
