Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join a Trauma Med/Surg unit for night shifts requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is for the Trauma Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes trauma and general medical/surgical cases
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel assignment
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Responsible for providing care to trauma and general Med/Surg patients
- Must submit a complete profile including application, skills checklist, references, and license verification
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be required per unit needs
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Scrub or dress code details to be provided by the facility
Requirements
- Active TN or compact state RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Trauma nursing experience
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSN) and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference required (two for Florida or Missouri, one for other states)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
