Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join a Trauma Med/Surg unit for night shifts requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is for the Trauma Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes trauma and general medical/surgical cases
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Responsible for providing care to trauma and general Med/Surg patients
• Must submit a complete profile including application, skills checklist, references, and license verification
• Holiday and weekend shifts may be required per unit needs
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Scrub or dress code details to be provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active TN or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Trauma nursing experience
• Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSN) and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required (two for Florida or Missouri, one for other states)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
