Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a NC or compact license, with day shift hours and a minimum of one year ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Direct care of critically ill adult patients
• Care for critically ill adult patients in a dynamic ICU setting
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Professional attire or hospital scrubs as required by unit

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• 1-2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (RQI not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccination card required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Cannot have been employed as a permanent staff member at any LifePoint facility in the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
