Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU
  • Care for critically ill adult patients with highly complex conditions
  • Assignment is 36 hours per week with a 50/50 split between day and night shifts
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday shifts are required
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • Join a large multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering top-quality critical care
  • Parking at Boston locations is not validated and public options cost $17-$22 daily
  • Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital; those within are subject to a lower pay rate
  • First time travelers are not eligible for this role

Requirements

  • Valid, active MA RN license in hand; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent acute care inpatient or current ICU experience required
  • At least 1 year of travel RN experience required
  • Primary source verification of professional license is required
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
