Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU
- Care for critically ill adult patients with highly complex conditions
- Assignment is 36 hours per week with a 50/50 split between day and night shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday shifts are required
- Uses Epic charting system
- Join a large multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering top-quality critical care
- Parking at Boston locations is not validated and public options cost $17-$22 daily
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital; those within are subject to a lower pay rate
- First time travelers are not eligible for this role
Requirements
- Valid, active MA RN license in hand; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years recent acute care inpatient or current ICU experience required
- At least 1 year of travel RN experience required
- Primary source verification of professional license is required
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
