Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU night shift position requiring a MA license, BSN, and recent level 1 trauma experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Shift is 12-hour nights with every third weekend required
- Care is provided for medically complex adult ICU patients
- Assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Weekly orientation is available, starting every Monday except holidays
- ECG/telemetry and medication competency testing may be required
- Holiday coverage may be required per unit needs
- Parking can cost up to $43 per day
- Candidates must submit all time-off requests up front for consideration
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical ICU experience with level 1 trauma exposure
- Current CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no locals accepted)
- Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from the facility to be considered
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions permitted)
