Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography/Radiology Technologist with at least 5 years of mammography experience and active ARRT and California licensure for a variable shift assignment.
Details
- Work in a diagnostic imaging department offering mammography, CT, bone density, general X-ray, and fluoroscopy/OR procedures
- Perform both screening and diagnostic mammography exams using established protocols
- Serve a diverse patient population across all age groups
- Variable 4x10 hour shifts
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mammography technologist
- Current ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography
- Active California Radiologic Technologist, Mammographic Technologist, and Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist licenses
- AHA BLS certification
- California Venipuncture Certificate required within 3 months of hire
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform job-related physical tasks
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform screening, diagnostic, and quality-control mammography, ensuring image quality and patient safety
- Act as a technical resource for breast imaging procedures and equipment operations
- Assist with patient education and departmental outreach initiatives
- Support bone density, CT, general X-ray, and fluoroscopy/OR cases as needed
- On-call responsibilities may be required
- Hospital orientation is provided and fully paid
- Familiarity with National Patient Safety Goals is expected
- No current COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
- Local candidates are accepted
