Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with GE and Siemens equipment and ARRT-CT certification to work evening shifts in a complex academic trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a level one trauma center within a large academic healthcare system
• 1,000-bed hospital with 200 dedicated pediatric beds
• Settings include outpatient imaging, inpatient imaging, CT intervention, pain management, portable neuro CT, portable OR imaging, and dedicated CT scanners in the ED
• Patient populations include cardiac, oncology, trauma, pain management, interventional, pediatric, and neonatal cases
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (evenings)
• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Duties include CT imaging for diverse patient populations including trauma, cardiac, oncology, pediatric, and pain management cases
• Work involves outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department environments as well as specialized portable imaging procedures
• Biweekly orientation is provided
• Minimum lead time of 3 weeks is required between booking and start date to allow for credentialing and compliance
• All compliance documentation must be submitted by Friday at 4 PM EST the week prior to start
• Locals accepted at a lower bill rate; local radius is 75 miles
• No flu vaccination exemptions accepted during required period

Requirements

• ARRT-CT certification required
• Experience with both GE and Siemens CT equipment is required
• Two years of CT tech experience highly preferred but not required
• One supervisory reference from the past year must be provided for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
• Must complete FIT testing
• Flu vaccination required between 10/31 and 3/31 with no exemptions accepted
• License required if applicable
