Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MA RN license and 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Pediatric ICU of an acute care hospital
- Patient population includes critically ill children requiring ventilator management and inotropic support
- Both straight night (3x12, 19:00-07:00) and straight day (3x12, 07:00-19:00) shifts are available with a larger weekend commitment
- Every other weekend work is required
- No on-call requirements
- Floating within scope to CICU, MSICU, and NICU as needed
- EMR system used is Epic
- Opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma, Magnet designated, and Level III/IV NICU teaching hospital
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Locals are accepted with a rate differential for those living within 50 miles of the facility
- Scrubs may be any solid color for all units except OR and SPT units
- Night shift parking is free; discounted off-site and onsite parking is available for other shifts with shuttle service
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- At least 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience including ventilator and inotrope management
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
