Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification and experience working in a trauma setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital CT department within a Level 1 trauma environment
- Schedule is Saturday through Monday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with 12-hour day shifts
- Department uses 3 scanners in the ECC, 2 for inpatient, and 1 on the neuro floor used overnight
- Patient population includes trauma, stroke, and burn cases
- GE scanners are used, including two with older platforms and five with the Revolution platform
- Charting is done in Epic EMR
- Work as part of a team typically staffed with 4 to 6 technologists
- Role involves scanning trauma, stroke, and burn patients in a fast-paced environment
- No call required for this position
- Scrub or dress code requirements are not specified
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Experience in trauma, stroke, and burn cases strongly preferred
- Proficiency with GE scanner platforms
- Previous experience with Epic EMR preferred
- License required if applicable
