Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida requiring a FL or compact RN license and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department
• Patient population includes emergency and acute cases
• Midshift schedule from 13:00 to 01:30
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Holiday coverage is required
• Responsible for delivering emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Holiday coverage is mandatory as scheduled
• Team collaboration and effective communication are essential in a high-acuity environment
• Local candidates are accepted but travel pay is reduced based on facility radius rules
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Only one active submission to Ascension system-wide is permitted

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Up-to-date TNCC certification required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training is required, must be an 8-hour course
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
