Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) day shift position, requiring a current CA RN license and recent Med/Surg LTAC experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital setting on a chronic care unit
- Day shift schedule: 07:00 to 19:00
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Care for patients with complex, chronic health conditions
- Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are subject to local rate rules
- Electronic timekeeping system required for clocking in and out
- Cannot have any certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
- Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
- No first-time travelers specified
Requirements
- Active and current CA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in LTAC or Med/Surg within the last 12 months
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year
- Must not hold permanent employment at any location during the travel assignment
