Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position in Michigan requiring an active MI RN license and at least two years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Medical Surgical Combination unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility
- Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted during this assignment
- COVID vaccination card required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Certifications via RQI are not accepted

I have never worked anywhere that runs like this facility. They have very limited resources in the upper peninsula. The staffing is always short. The nurses normally do a lot of tech work daily very unorganized difficult to complete tasks because of the way the unit is run. The people are great, but I don’t see any improvement here for a very long time
