Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and California state certification for a mobile and clinic-based role.
Responsibilities
- Work in mammography imaging settings, including both a dedicated imaging center and a mobile unit serving the Bay Area
- Main location assignment with required floating to a nearby breast center
- Involves use of mammography equipment and mobile imaging vans
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; rotating weekend schedule includes Tuesday to Saturday shifts with Monday off and at least one Saturday shift per month
- Role involves travel throughout the Bay Area via Mammo Mobile Van; pick-up and drop-off at primary breast center location
- Return staff must have a minimum 1-year break before eligibility as a traveler
- Only one holiday requested off will be approved
- Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- 50-mile radius rule applies for candidate eligibility
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Current ARRT, BLS, and CRT certifications required
- Certified Radiologic Technologist with Mammography Certification by the California Department of Health Services
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Must hold a valid CA state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- License required if applicable
