Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a main hospital MRI department within a teaching and Magnet-recognized Level 1 Trauma center
• Care for inpatient, ER, and outpatient populations with caseloads that vary
• Night shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other buildings on campus within scope as needed
• Epic is used for charting and documentation
• Siemens experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All employees, including travelers, may be assigned to emergency storm teams
• Mandatory completion of facility modules prior to start
• Previous staff must be separated from the hospital system for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• A 60-mile radius rule applies; locals considered case-by-case at a lower rate
• Teal top and black bottom scrubs required
• Parking pass costs $20 for nights and weekends
• All requested time off must be submitted up front and is subject to approval
• Travelers may only be assigned to one facility or unit at a time

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
• Active BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Experience with Siemens MRI systems required
• Experience in a teaching hospital preferred
• SSN and driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
