Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an OB Ultrasound Tech with at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience and ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification for a maternal fetal setting.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a tertiary hospital and OB/GYN clinic specializing in maternal fetal ultrasound
• Day shifts, 4x10 hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No weekends or on-call required
• Daily caseload averages 10-15 OB/GYN patients per technologist
• Uses Siemens and GE ultrasound equipment
• Epic is the preferred EMR, experience preferred
• No floating between service lines or facilities required
• Responsibilities include performing detailed ultrasound examinations for OB/GYN patients in a high-acuity maternal fetal environment
• Scrub colors are black or teal
• All required modules must be completed prior to start
• No local candidates within 60 miles will be accepted
• Candidates must include all requested time off at the time of submission; approval is based on facility need
• Returning employees must have been separated from the system for at least one year
• Free parking is available
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
• Block scheduling requests may be accommodated with prior approval but are not guaranteed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience required
• Current BLS and ARDMS (OB/GYN) or ARRT (S) certification required
• Experience with Siemens and GE ultrasound equipment required
• Experience in Level 3 trauma settings preferred
• Must provide Social Security card and driver's license for consideration
• License required if applicable
• AHA certifications only
• First-time travelers will be considered
