Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent GE CT and stroke protocol experience, current BLS and ARRT (CT, R) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a Level II Trauma Center with both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Primary work in the CT unit with floating required between ER and main CT areas
• Patient population spans emergency room and general diagnostic imaging
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekends
• Call is required as part of the schedule
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• All CT technologists are expected to float between all CT facilities in the state as needed
• Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal to no time off is permitted; any requests must be addressed prior to offer and large amounts of RTO may hinder consideration
• Scrub color of choice is allowed, except reddish orange shades are not permitted
• Free parking is provided by the facility
• Vaccination for COVID and flu may be required per state or facility policy
• First-time travelers are accepted with at least 2 years of experience

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Must have experience with GE CT equipment within the past year
• Strong proficiency with stroke protocol workflow
• References: At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable setting within the past 3 years required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
