Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certification for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department
• Patient population and types of cases typical for a CT Tech role
• Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12s)
• Call required 2-4 days per month
• Charting is completed using Epic
• Floating within scope may be required, including to sister facilities
• No block scheduling available
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must be willing to float to other facilities within the network as needed
• Permanent staff must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
• No holiday or blackout date time off requests allowed
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO per assignment
• No block scheduling requests will be accommodated
• Returning travelers with previous employment must meet eligibility requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must provide a valid driver’s license and a utility bill in the traveler’s name with a matching address from within the last three months
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
• No local candidates accepted
• State license must be active at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted per 13-week assignment
• 2 supervisory references and copies of certifications required for consideration
