Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring moderate sedation experience and a GA or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a hospital Endovascular Lab
• Day shift with 10-hour shifts
• No on-call required
• Focus on cardiac and vascular procedures including peripheral catheterization
• Moderate sedation procedures performed
• Experience with strong endovascular procedures preferred
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not eligible
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must have 1 year separation from the health system and 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Maximum of five days RTO allowed if not near a holiday, maximum of three days if RTO is on or near a holiday, and only one holiday request permitted

Requirements

• Active RN license in GA or Compact state required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Demonstrated experience with moderate sedation and peripheral catheterization
