Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown position requiring 18 months of recent stepdown experience and a valid OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital stepdown unit
• Patient population includes stepdown level acuity
• D/N rotating shifts required, 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am, with possible variability to meet hospital needs
• Assignment is for 13 weeks
• Traveler must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Traveler may be required to rotate between day and night shifts based on operational needs
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location must not exceed 18 consecutive months and require a 6-month break before returning
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Completion of both ECG rhythm and safeMedicate assessments is mandatory during orientation

Requirements

• Active permanent OH or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent stepdown experience required
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests must be completed with acceptable scores during orientation
