Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong general, ortho, neuro, trauma, and ENT experience for a variable schedule assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Handles general, orthopedic, neurosurgical, trauma, and ENT surgical cases
• Pediatric experience is preferred
• Variable day shifts: either 3x12s or 4x10s, with schedule and shifts to be discussed in interview
• Rotating days off and call required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Position involves taking call as part of the regular rotation
• Must have flexibility to adapt to a schedule that changes weekly
• References from two supervisors from the past three years of employment are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Experience in general, ortho, neuro, trauma, and ENT surgeries required
• Pediatric OR experience preferred
• Must be flexible with work schedule and shift times
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
